The AAPBA has always been very proud of the fine professional atmosphere present at our shows

the AAPBA and responsible dog owners nationwide at the taping of AAPBA dog shows. The goal is to
show the highest standards and level of competition the AAPBA is known for along with our great
focus and mindset of responsible ownership we instill on our members, registrants and show goers.
Let’s make the AAPBA and dog lovers proud by putting on a great dog sports show for you, the folks
in attendance and for all the television viewers of the AAPBA dog show.

When shows are being taped we ask everyone to follow these guidelines:
·Be aware of the camera and microphone
·Practice personal as well as dog safety
·Exhibit mature and professional conduct, which would also include language and good sportsmanship.

This would be a great opportunity to prove you have the top-sporting dog around!

Snow, snow and more snow. That what the entire show day was like at the AAPBA dog show on
February 2, 2008 at the AAPBA dog show grounds. But despite the weather and temperature dog
lovers and dog sports enthusiasts were out with their furry four legged companions for a good time!

What a great season opener!

Congratulations to all dogs that entered and competed in the dog sports!

Thank you to Josh Haskins for handling the Judging duties for both events and making it a safe and
great show.

AAPBA Does Away With Most Weight Pulled
The AAPBA has always been the forerunner in competition and changes for the safety and overall
well being of dogs. So once again looking for ways to improve on old and outdated traditions and at the
same time raise the level of competition. As of February 2008 the AAPBA Weight Pull Event commits to
a pound for pound method only. This is not only the truest way to measure dogs for strength but will
also raise awareness Most Weight Pull and the effect it has on the ruin of certain dog breeds and the
rise of unethical practices and motivations.
The AAPBA warns all about any groups and organization that still support this type of award.

Hot Doggin! That's what best describes the competition at the last dog show and guaranteed for the
rest of the year!

The AAPBA 2008 Dog Show Season is well under way with the month of March supplying a great
show of dog sporting fun. Consistently we have had new faces and new competitors joining up at
every show and with our new Dogs In Sport TV program we anticipate more competitors joining in on
the fun. Keep checking back to www.dogsinsport.com or www.aapba.com for date and time slots.
The Dogs In Sport TV program can be seen on KLTV Channel 11 for Comcast subscribers in the
Cowlitz, Lewis, Wahkiakum and Columbia counties.

With some showers and lots of sun breaks the overall atmosphere on March 15, 2008 at the AAPBA
dog show grounds in Castle Rock, Wa was fantastic with a great show of sportsmanship and a
superb output of charged dog energy. This show had one event added to the schedule, the Sled Sprint
event. With 3 events scheduled (Extreme Treadmill Sprint had 2 shows) for the day, the start times
were delayed slightly but once things got underway the entire show flowed smoothly with nary a
hiccup.

Lookout next month for the Lure Racing! With a new track with added distance expect the races to be
a lot of high octane fun! Also next month the Agility will be back so be prepared for another fun AAPBA
dog show season.

We want to congratulate all dogs that entered and competed in the dog sports and congratulate our
new dog sporting champions listed below!
